John Ryan, Company A, 25th Illinois Infantry

I am looking for any information on John Ryan who enlisted into the Union Army on 6/1/1861. He was assigned to Company A of the 25th Illinois Infantry on 8/4/1861. He recieved a disability discharge on 3/27/1863. I am trying to find out if this John Ryan is part of my family tree so any family names or anything on his background or fate would be very helpful. He may have come from Lake County, IL.
