Thomas, according to Webster's Dictionary, "Remove" can be defined as, "To change one's place of residence or business", hence the common usage for moving.

Yes, I did find this family in Chicago in the 1860 Census. Unfortunately, the names of the children do not match Christoher and Joseph Coyne from her first marriage. Thanks anyway.
