This is just a shot in the dark...but I am curious if anyone knows of any information on a Curry family from Shelby Co. Illinois?
Charles A. and Ada "Addie" J. Holley Curry..... Charles b. September 1863 Illinois Addie b. March 1870 Illinois. Just recently while taking pictures at the Bell Cemetery in Cumberland Co. Illinois. I came across the graves of Charles and Ada Curry. Another researcher told me of her find in the Cumberland Co. census that they were the parents of Orville,Dale, Roy L., Emma, Marie, Rosa and Hellen. The first 3 born somewhere around the early 1900's in Shelby Co. Illinois and the rest in Cumberland Co. Illinois. I don't know who the rest married and what happened to them and were there any children?
Orville and Dale both married Edith Tipsword.
I think Rosa married Elza Raymond Hampsten and he is also buried in that Bell Cemetery? but don't know where she is, possibly remarried. Emma married Edith's oldest brother, Marlin "Otto" Tipsword in 1918 also in Bell Cemetery.
Does anyone have any info on these Shelby Co./Cumberland Co. Illinois Curry's?
