I'm looking for the birth parents of Loren Hardesty (initially Loren Allen) adopted by Frank Hardesty and Lydia Gerner. Loren was born in Springfield, Illinois on 17 May 1910. He was one of approximately 5 or 6 children and was a/the middle child. He later lived in Beardstown, IL and married Hazel C. Wells. He died on 5 Jan 1994 in Beardstown, Illinois. I have reason to believe a Robert Allen is a direct ancestor to Loren Allen/Hardesty, however I'm not sure what generation in relation to Loren.
