Rudolph L. Anderson born 1884

Lookup please: I have my husband's grandfathers' Marriage License dated October 17, 1913. He married Grace Retallic in Marquette County, Michigan. The license states Rudolph was from Chicago, Illinois and his occupation was "Travelling Man". I'm assuming this meant travelling salesperson. We would like to verify his place of birth, birthdate etc. if it is possible. Is it possible to find out if he registered for the draft? or if he had family in Illinois? Family lore has it that he made some money making/selling munitions during WW1. The maid of honour at the wedding was Flora Retallic and best man was Arthur Lindahl. Rudolph's father's name was Solomon Anderson and his mother's name was Mary Nyberg. Not much to go on but I'm hoping he will show up on a census.
