I am researchin the family John Brumfield Crawford, b.1810, who was married to Mary Ellen Sprout, b. 1815. John and Mary were both born in PA, Fayette County, or Washington County.
I found them and their family in the 1860 census in Beallsville Borough, Washington County, PA. They migrated to Streator, Lasalle, Illinois abt. 1865.
I am not sure who the parents of John are, but Mary's mother was Eleanor Sprout born 1765 in Maryland and was living with the family in 1850 Fallowfield Twp. Washington County, Pa census. I found that Thomas Sprout, b. 1808, who is believe to be Mary's brother, is buried next to Mary and John B. in Riverview Cemetery, Streator, LaSalle, Illinois.
I am looking for information on the parents of John or Mary Ellen Sprout Crawford.
