Robert Christie, Born early 1900's

I am looking for my great-grandfather's information. I know very little about him, which of course makes it hard.

What I do know:

-His name was Robert Christie, and he was born between 1900 and 1915.

-He didn't ever legally marry my great grandmother, Marie Trowbridge, born 1913.

-His son is Robert Gerald Christie, born 1932.

-He spent most of his life in Illinois, and probably died there.

-He worked as a bartender in the 30's.

And that's about it! If anyone has ANY info, I would so greatly appreciate it.
