Hi Thomas and thank you for your imput.
David died in a hospital in Lynch, NE but was buried in South Dakota because he and his family were living in South Dakota at the time. David and Mary Emma never divorced. In 1920 the family is living in Gregory Co. SD all except their oldest child Charles (my G-Grandfather).
Finding and tracking them from 1900 backward is my largest issue. I've found and tracked Mary Emma Livey McNamara for pretty much all of her life. David, now that's another story. I can't seem to find anything on him at all before he and my G-G-Grandmother married. I know Emma lived in Walnut,IL a great deal of her life, moving there from Amboy. David (according to burial records) was born in Leland, IL. I know my G-Grandfather, Charles, was born in Walnut, IL. Stands to reason David lived not far from there prior to their marriage. Funny I can't seem to find David and his parents anywhere.
What to do? What to do? I'm all out of ideas!
