Mary Sim(m)s was born about 1801 in Spartanburg Co., SC.
She and George Wolf(e) married in Morgan Co., IL. 5 Mar. 1829 Ref: Vol. "A" page 4, Lic. No. 286

the 1850 & 1860 censuses enumerate the family of George & Mary Wolf in Macoupin County.

The maiden name was SIMS. Don't know why it was corrupted as Simms.

Her parents:

James Sims
b. abt. 1772 likely in Halifax Co., VA.
d. abt. 1843 Sangamon Co., IL.
Last Will and Testament said to have been probated 22 Feb. 1844 in Cass Co., IL.
m. abt. 1795 Spartanburg Co., SC.
wife: Susan "Dolly" Spillars
b. abt. 1775 South Carolina
d. abt. 1835 Morgan Co., IL.
