I am looking for any thing on Thomas J. Marshall and wife Katie Marshall nee Miles. Illinois Marriage 27th Sep 1893 Cook County, Il.
In 1920 at 3 years old my Mother Ilene E. Marshall, who was born in Wis., was adoptioned in Hopkins, Michigan by Wm. & Mary Smalla.
Her Mother, Katie is deceased. 1920 census a Thomas Marshall widower is living in Hopkins alone.
The 1930 census has her in Hopkins age 14 as a Smalla and born in Wisc.
