This may be luck - but I just found William Daglish on the "American Eagle" arrival date 5 March 1849 from London to New York. Occupation is shown as Silversmith - which seems a little strange. We have reason to believe that his uncle - also William Daglish - died in 1849 (apparently in Kentucky), so this may be connected.
