Rhonda,

Take what you know is true, like your mother's and father's birth certificates and work backwards from there. Get certified documentation of everything.

Is Bridget Costella O'Hara, beloved wife of the late John, your family? I do not know. There could be any number of reasons Patrick was not on the census after 1910. Some how you have to figure that out. Try looking up St. Adrians Church (if they don't have the records head for the Chicago Archdiocese Archives) and Mt. Olivet Cemetery and contact them. Is John buried next to Bridget? Who bought the graves?

www.google.com is a wonderful search engine.

Try looking up train wrecks in IL. What time period are we talking about?
