I am desperately looking for a lead to establish the tie in England to my Great-Great Grandfather George Smee. He emigrated to the U.S. in 1860 at the age of 15 (the story is that he was a stow away). I have attached a link to a Hardin County, Illinois 1900 census that shows his son and several step children listed. Feel free to use this copy freely. I hope it helps!
