I am looking for information on the following family:

Joseph Casassa, b. 10/14/1880, Italy (we think Northern Italy around Turino), d. 8/2/1952, Joliet, Will County, IL
He married Mary Bertolotti, b. 12/14/1883, Turino, Italy, d. 5/15/1944, Joliet, Will County, IL

Joseph had one brother that we know of named James who remained in Italy.

Mary came over to America with two sisters: Christina Bertolotti, b. 6/17/1875, Turino, Italy, d. 1959, Chicago, Cook County, IL. She married Philip Cresto, b. 7/24/1877, Turino, Italy, d. 1951, Joliet, Will County, IL. They had six children. The other sister I don't have a first name for but she married Valantine Barbieri.

Joseph and Mary had the following children:

Katherine (Kay)
Pauline (Polly)
James, (my direct descendent), b. 9/8/1913, LaSalle County, IL; d. 4/10/1973, Joliet, Will County, IL
Alvera, b. 7/16/1915

James married (1) Dorothy May Jones, (d/o Wallace Jones and Alice Hopper) b. 4/2/1919, Wilmington, Will County, IL; d. 9/22/1946, Joliet, Will County, IL. They had the following children:

Gloria Ann, b. 5/16/1936
Patricia Lou, b. 10/22/1939 (my direct descendent)
Lynette Rae, b. 2/8/1943
Baby Boy, b. 9/20/1946, d. 9/21/1946

He married (2) Anna May Bossom, (d/o Frank Bossom and Mary McCarthy) b. 6/7/1910, Joliet, Will County, IL; d. 1/14/1988, Joliet, Will County, IL. They had the following children:

Jyme Ann, b. 8/19/1948
Judith, b. 2/7/1950

Any information on the Casassa lineage would be greatly appreciated. I have run into a brick wall at the Italian border. Thank you!
