Richard Dargin and his predecessors
Posted by: James Dargin (ID *****5406) Date: August 03, 2002 at 11:22:22

My fathers name of Dargin was said to have been changed after they came from Ireland to the USA. I believe they settled in Ohio or Illinois. Supposedly, the name was changed from Dargan to Dargin. The descendent name tree looks like this: James Dargin (me) -> David Dargin -> Richard Dargin. Is there any evidence of a Dargan-Dargin name change in Illinois. How would I research this question?
