James Donovan and Mary Elizabeth Perkins m Sep 1817 in Bourbon, KY. Moved to Vermilion, Il in 1828. Seven children born in KY--nine born in Illinois. Looking for James parents. One book says they were born and married in Ireland--immigrated to Kentucky. James born in 1787 (then Virginia Territory). We speculate James father was William Donovan born in Ireland about 1750--emigrated to Virginia about 1775. Any suggestions on how to find such info?
