Thanks for the information, your very kind. Hopefully this will get me started. I live in Virginia and don't had the means to go to Chicago to conduct the proper research. I do know my father grew up in the South Side(Essex Ave 1932-?, Stoney Island Ave or 83rd ?-?, and Coles Ave mid to late 40s to 1952 then US Army. Thanks again.
