Hi Charlene,

You have been a great help. It fills in details about the Apperson-Tozier marriage and the Apperson family. It also confirms the parentage of William Tozier. I never would have thought to look for a "Francis" Tozier when searching for Franklin!

As it often happens in genealogy, when you find information, it answers some questions and raises others. In this case I am talking about Della, shown in the Fulton Co., Illinois 1900 census as a niece of Martha J. Williams. That was an unexpected reference, to say the least, and one I'll have to pursue.

Thank you very much for responding to my plea for help. These multiple marraiges do confuse the issue. If you unearth any other information, please e-mail me at helmac@indy.net.

Very gratefully,
Helen McFadden
