I am searching for my husband's birth family. His Jackson County, Missouri Social Services paperwork states he was born 2-26-1950, but we aren't for sure whether that is his true date of birth or not. We were told he looks exactly like his mother's father, Bruce Wilson and we have a picture to prove the exact resemblence he has to Bruce his grandfather. He also resembles the Monger family. We aren't for sure about his birth name because we were told his birth name was Larry Wayne Peters, but we think he may of been adopted out and then returned and new paperwork filled out by the family returning him and then readopted out under the name Larry Wayne Peters. There is a name on the Missouri Birth Index Record for 2-26-1950 of a Lawrence Jesse Wilson, which may originally been my husband's birth name since his grandfather's last name is Wilson, but we are unsure. We think the Peters name might also be his grandmother's maiden name, but unsure. All my husband wants is, to find his birth family for medical information and is willing to meet any family members that would like to meet him. He just wants to find out who is true blood family is. The picture of Bruce Wilson we have also shows his son, Lowell in the picture and it was taken in Blandinsville, Illinois sometime between 1910's and 1930's. Lowell is probably between 6-18 mos. old in the picture. Any information is appreciated. Please email me at tjcherokee@aol.com Thank You.
