In 1850, Zephon Patrick Flower(s) lived in Massac County, IL. I am looking for someone who has information on his oldest son, William P. Flowers.
Some say that William's middle initial P. stood for Preston, his mother's maid name. (If William was born before Zephon married Myle Wood in 1833 as most indicate, his mother would have been Zephon's first wife, Polly Preston, who he married in 1817.)
Could someone please shed some light on this subject?
