Mariah Williams b. 1835

I need to find the parents of MARIAH WILLIAMS b. 1835 - probably in Alabama, but possibly in Kentucky or Tennessee - records conflict. On August 10, 1851 she married HOSEA WHITE in Johnson Co. Illinois. She is buried with him in the Fain Cemetery in Cache Township, Johnson Co. Illinois, but there is no date of death on the headstone. He remarried in 1892.

MARIAH and HOSEA lived in Massac and Johnson Counties in Illinois. Their children were Nancy, Sarah A., Martha S., Mary I., William H. and John G. Sarah A. and Mary I. married DUNN brothers in Johnson Co. IL.

MARIAH WILLIAMS is my most distant female to female ancestor. I have recently had mitochondrial DNA testing done which provides me the mtDNA for MARIAH and her female ancestors. So I am anxious to find her mother and grandmother, etc. to trace the female line.

I have been unable to locate her on the 1850 census in Illinois which I had hoped would give me the names of her parents.

Any help that you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Connie
