Shock family, 1854-1886, Mason County IL

Adam Shock bought land in Mason County in 1854. He married Mary Myers in Ohio in 1840. Their children were:

Catherine who married Henry Himmel and from Adams estate record, moved to Texas
Jefferson who married Mary Elizabeth Manhart (Mennert in the Marriage Index). They had two children: Lucas and Laura, my grandmother.
Lucas Shock who died at Liberty Gap, Tennessee in 1864 during the Civil War.
Eliza who married George Washington Neikirk in 1864 and died January 07, 1910 in Forest City.

Adam died November 01, 1886 in Forest City. From his estate file it appears that Jefferson predeceased him. There was no estate file for Jefferson in the Mason County Court House.

Jefferson's son. Lucas, died before 1900.

Does anyone know anything about this family? I am especially interested in Jefferson and his son Lucas.
