Looking for information on Alice Bolton m. to Henry Pilkington (born about 1807-1810 in Ireland) - married on February 1, 1828 in Madison County, Illinois.
There is a Henry Pilkinton on the 1830 Census for Madison County; there are also on that census Charles Bolton and Thomas Bolton.
Listed as early settlers of Troy are Thomas Bolton and George Bolton.
I wonder if there is a connection.
Henry Pilkington is found later in St. Louis, St. Louis County, Missouri; the earliest I find him there is 1847.
Henry m. second Mrs. Prudence Rizer/Reiser (born about 1824) on September 2, 1852, St. Louis County, Missouri.
