My James P. Richards was in Macon Co., IL in the 1880 Census and was a widower. His children were listed as Charles,Ella and George. James served in the 26th IL Infantry Regt in the Civil War and is buried in Grovelawn Cemetery in Madison County, Indiana. I don't know the date of death, but he was born around 1824 in Butler Co., Ohio. Thanks for any info on James and his family. I don't know his wife's name or marriage date. I don't think he married in Macon Co. but can't say for sure.
