Hello I am trying to find a Roberts fam .that had a son who was a circuit preacher durring the 1930`s and 40`s he was my dad`s(Floyd E.Davis sr.)partner they traveled Ind and Il and Iowa ,My dad was from Flat Rock IL Crawford co.Honey Creek twp.
His mother was Nora Ellen Crozier who married Samuel Hendricks Davis and when he dided in 1934 she married in 1946 to a Henry H.Baldwin and then she lived in Robinson twp. The Rev.Roberts baptized me in june of 1963 .My fam would go see him in different towns in Ind at the Free Methodist churches in South Bend,Hammond and other towns to see him from Easter until about aug. He would fill in when the reg. ministers were either on vacation or other reasons. the 2nd, reason I am looking for him is that Roberts is /was my mother-in-laws maiden name and trying to see if there is a connection I know that there were some Roberts that moved into Ind as well as IL.in the early 1900.
