I do research on the 39th Illinois Infantry. My records show that Henry Dobner enlisted in February of 1864 in Company F and was mustered out June 16, 1865. Leonard Dobner enlisted in Company F from Fremont, Illinois, on January 28, 1864. He was taken prisoner May 16, 1864, at the battle of Drewery's Bluff, VA. Later paroled, he died of disease on December 12, 1864. Do you have any information on them you can share with me?
