Photos of Mundelein, Illinois in the 1950 era

My family moved to Mundelein in 1950. I would love to have some photos from that era....the main street of the village and Diamond Lake. The names I remember are: Dick Varney (Varmin), Cheryl Moss her father was in the Navy and a lady across the street named Veronica, had a beauty shop in her home. Would love some history, too.

I remember there was a flood at the bottom of the street. I wonder if the orchard where the pasture was flooded.

I remember that the kindergarten class was held in the basement of some church.

Are there any City Directories for the Village of Mundelein in the 1950 era?

I would appreciate if some could help me, or direct me to someone that can.

Thank you
