Looking for information about a James Armstrong, born about 1842 in Indiana.
He was listed in the 1880 Census for Kankakee, Kankakee County, Illinois as a boarder in a rooming house owned by Sarah (Brumley) Matson. It stated that he was single and a railroad man, and his parents were both born in Indiana.
