I am in hopes that someone in Hardin county has information on my Ezra Hastings who was born in Indiana; but was in Hardin county before 1870 and probably as early as 1860. His wifes' name was Clarissa "Clara" and they had at least two children; Adaline born ca. 1862 and John born ca. 1863. Ezra was born ca. 1833 Indiana and lived at Sellars, Hardin county, Illinois. He was a veteran of the Illinois Cavalry in the Civil War and according to the information I have died in Hardin county April 25 1902. Ezra was a brother of my ancestor and I hope that someone can help with any information. I have tons of ancestral data on him; but don't know what his wifes' maiden name was.
