Now that was just wonderful ! The very first name was their son Andrew. J Applegate.
His parents and his sister Margaret and her husband Jediah Or Jebediah Brown moved to Nauvoo IL. in about 1850. While there Martha and Jediah got in a fight and she cried out for her father Thomas who came to her aide only to be shot and killed by Jediah. Her mother Margaret suffered a stroke and died about a week later. That was in 1853 and sense they were in Nauvoo when they died, I assumed they were buried there. No record on find a grave. Thanks though for that Springrove list. I have to study it but I believe there are more of the Applegates buried there. Is that in Clermont Co.?How did you find it? Do you belong to a paid site?
