Home locations in Hancock Couty: Bentley & Carthage

Does anyone know anyone who has been "around for awhile" who would know where people lived in this area? I know my family settled in Harmony Township in the 1850's and I am trying to locate their farms. John, Samuel, George, John Henry, and Samuel Raymond all had farms. John's was 1 1/2 miles SE of Bentley and they were all in the Bentley and Carthage area. John's wife lived on their farm for 71 years, until around 1922. I am told my Great aunt married Dr. Raymond F. Sheets and their home looked like a southern plantation and is still standing. Also, the home of George Langford is said to still be standing.
Thank you and have a good week!
