It didn't make it before vacation, but I will second your suggestion. We spent 2 days at the Hancock Co. Historical Society doing research and it was wonderful. The people were very friendly and helpful. Didn't find a lot of new information, but enough to make it worth the trip. With their help and some wonderful lady at the court house we were able to walk the ground that our ancestors farmed 150 years ago. Thanks for your reply. Sharon
