Hancock County Plat Maps?
Posted by: Jim (ID *****1566) Date: October 19, 2005 at 13:56:09

Does anyone know if there were plat maps for Hancock County for around 1850? The Hancock County website has some for 1859, but I need it closer to 1850. I have found some families in the 1850 census, but they are in the unidentified townships part of the census, (309 images) and I need to know where these folks lived in relationship to each other.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Resarching the following names in Hancock County: CARPENTER, CLAPPER, GOODWIN, GOODWINE, ETTLEMAN, MASON
