Colchester

Alice Duncan, 85, of Colchester died at 12:53 a.m. Tuesday, September 7,2004,at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.

Born May 18,1919, in Elvaston to Ira and Goldie Newman Smart, she married Ralph Cain on August 12,1937 in Keokuk, Iowa. He died in May of 1973.

She later married Naurice Duncan on September 12, 1986, in Moberly, Missouri.He died April 11, 2001.

Surviving are one son Floyd "Nick"(and Sherrie)Cain of New Port Richey, Florida; one daughter, Marilyn (and Marty) Wingo of Colchester; 17 grandchildren;41 great grandchildren;two great-great grandchildren; and one brother Russell (and Monalou) Smart of Carthage.

She was a member of the Colchester Senior Citizens and Colchester First Baptist Church.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Jones Mortuary, where visitation will be one hour before. The Reverend Dennis Clements will officiate. Calling hours will be after 10:00 a.m today until the time of services at the mortuary.
Burial will be in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery.

Memorials made be made to Colchester Senior Citizens or the Alzheimer's Association
