We are trying to find information on my husband's side of the family. We have Mother's Birth Certificate that states her father, Charles Clinton Knowles, was 52 yoa when she was born & he was born in the state of ILL. That would make his birth year 1882. I received an e-mail from a Roger E. Knowles who found a Charles C. Knowles in the 1880 census that was born in 1876. Roger also told me that Charles Clinton Knowles was born in Carthage, Hancock Co., ILL. Can anyone help me out here - this is a "brick wall" with me? THANKS in advance, JMK
