Cartwright family from NY

I have had no luck finding out what happened to Bryant Cartwright who moved in the middle 1840s, from NY to Hancock County, Illinois with his brother, William Cartwright, his three sisters, Phoebe Palmer, Abigail Cartwright, and Martha Pendleton, and his mother, Abigail Cartwright. He can be found in the 1850 and 1860 census but after that I totally lose track of him. His daughter, Amanda Cartwright, married John Griffith in McDonough County, Illinois, in 1870. Does anyone have any info on this family. I am descended from Amanda but would be thrilled to hear what happened to any of the others.
