John G. Robinson was married to Jane E. Burch in Lewis Co., Mo. Aug. 20, 1857. On July 7, 1886 they were involved in a horse and buggy accident south of the woolen mill in Warsaw, Hancock Co., Ill. Jane died the next day in the home of her sister, Mrs. J. G. Lobb in Warsaw. She was buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw. The Robinsons lived on Nathan Whaley's farm in the Bottoms.In 1880, her brother James Birch/Burch was living with his wife, Louiza, son Elias, daughter Hester (he also had a sister Hester) and son William in the Rocky Run community of Hancock Co. Jane's sister, Sarah, husband, William R. Jones and daughter Lota also lived in the Rocky Run Community. Would love to correspond with anyone who connects with this family. John G. and Jane were parents of my grandfather, John James Robertson who was born in Hancock Co. in 1857.
