Lee,

I can tell you that the "Andrew" that you speak of had a wife, Mary E.; was listed as being born 1834 in OH; had a son, Wilmer Abraham Lincoln Mapes (1865); died after 1900; and also had three other children: Clarence A. (Oct 1871) and Shapley A. (Apr 1871). I also have a daughter listed as Luella (Dec 1876). I do not have a listing for a Stella.

Wilmer married Frances L. Johnson on 23 Aug 1888, in Edgar County. I'm not sure if this confirms or denies your information, but I hope that it at least helps.
