--his name was---WILLIAM TILDEN GRASS---will give what i have on him-source of info and if anyone has any other paperwork on him that states his name is wiliam tecumseh grass--time is running out--you need to bring that documentation --to the --free world--post haste--
william tilden grass--per his widow (was remarried at the time--annette b sargent) affadavit by her in support of request for--minor child pension--james m grass----will quote part of her deposition-in response to gov ltr dated dec 9-1919---quote-"in reply to departmnent letter dated december 9 th,1919, i will state that the correct name and and full name of the soldier was william TILDEN grass, he very seldom used the 't" when writing his name--"
