Lorraine,

I cannot find anything on this William....yet. I am still working on the 1900 census and I am also transcribing it for USGenWeb, so look for it online sometime in the near future.

As far as the SIZEMORE line goes, I have it back to 1782. John and Elizabeth SIZEMORE came to Edgar County sometime between 1822 and 1840 from Stokes Co., NC.

According to the 1840 census, there was also a William SIZEMORE household living next door to John and Elizabeth and was probably a son of theirs. There is no mention of him or his family in the 1850 census for Edgar County. He may have been the grandfather of your William. You might want to check around in the surrounding counties to see if he moved there sometime between 1840 and 1850.

I'm sorry that I couldn't help you this time.

Tracy
