Charlotte: This is a long shot but maybe will lead to something for both of us. My Johanna Gilbert Wright b 1836, Henry Co. IN lived in Edgar Co. IL (some of her Wright/McComas relatives moved there from IN) with a Harris family. Johanna married a Wm Arbuckle in Clark Co. IL in 1852 & they moved to Mercer Co MO. Years later they div & she was in Davis City, Decatur Co, IA in 1880 where her dtr, Ida Arbuckle marr a John S. Jenkins. John left Ida & disappeared after the births of 2 dtrs & Johanna d in Lincoln, NE in 1906. The info for her death cert was given by a "D. Watts". Noone in my family knows who this Watts is & the info on the cert appears to be incorrect as the mother for Johanna is listed as "Margaret Henley" & I can't find a listing anywhere for a Wright/Henley marr. Anyway, there is a connection here between these families so you might consider looking at some of these locations & names for clues. If you know of anything to help me, I would appreciate it. Thanks.
