Dear Jenny: I am Julia Ann Grasty Davis born Oct 4, 1943 San Diego, CA My mother was Anna Margaret Porter Grasty born July 26, 1917 Chicago,IL Her father Lemuel Robert Porter born Catlin, IL He was the youngest son of Nathan Porter and Margaret Ann Coon
I have not found his parents yet but Margaret's parents are John Coon 1818 and Mary Ann Swank Ramona Coon Limp is doing the research on that side of the family. And doing a very fine job I might add. E. H. Elliott is helping me find information on Sylvanus his death cert. says that he was born May 3, 1873 and he died Aug 13, 1922 of Chronic Bronchitis. Give me an address and I will send you a copy or you can write Lynn Foster Vermillion Co. clerk Danville, Il for one It is good to hear from you Jenny. Would it be possible to have some dates because my cousin Barbara Porter Jones and I are working on Sylvanus W. Porter and Sarah Florence Hardesty Ward Porter family now. Be Cuz Julie
