Kris, I've just discovered the marriage of a sibling of my ancestor to a Boyce in Douglas Co. and wonder if you have any background on this man, William BOYCE who married Elizabeth M. "Lizzie" SKINNER in 1863 at Douglas County. I know that Elizabeth remarried in 1870 at Chicago, so wonder if William died perhaps in the Civil War? At this point I don't know anything about William BOYCE, so hoping you might have him in your data, but the Boyce surname is an entirely new line of study for me. I'd like to determine if Elizabeth & William BOYCE had any children to search for living descendants. Elizabeth was born 1842, so I assume William BOYCE was born sometime between 1830 & 1843 - most likely around 1840. - Thanks, Allan Griffith, Bloomington, IL - alternate Email:
