My G3 grandfather, Abraham Williams, had a daughter named Kizziah born ca 1817 in VA or KY. Kizziah married Samuel Lewis 12 Aug 1835 in Pulaski County, KY. My Williams ancestors were closely associated with the Blankenships: Abrahamís son, Anderson Williams, married Mary Blankenship (daughter of Abel Noel Blankenship and Amy Warren) 8 Feb 1827 in Pulaski County; and Abrahamís daughter, Martha Williams, married James W. Blankenship (son of Abel Noel Blankenship and Amy Warren) 8 Aug 1825 in Pulaski County. Amy Warren Blankenship is buried in the Williams Family plot in Pulaski County, as is Hannah Vann Blankenship, first wife of Abel and Amyís son, Joel.

Your posting seems to indicate that Kizziahís maiden name was Lerber, but I canít find this surname in any Pulaski County records. Although I do find the surname Surber, I canít find a Surber marriage to a Lewis in the KY marriages to 1850 database.

I see Samuel and Kizziah Lewis in the 1850 Owen County, IN census, and Samuel and Kizziah Lewis were named as parties in an 1878 Pulaski County suit, brought against the heirs of Abraham Williams by James and Sarah Williams Hazlett. Any chance that your Kizziah is from my Williams line?

Thanks, Mike Williams
