I am looking for a first marriage for my grandmother, McLissie Alice Brittin aka birth name Malissa Alice, Lizzie, Lissie. The marriage would have been prior to 1902 as she married Edward Sigler in 1902 and I have the marriage register for that marriage. On that marriage, she is shown as LIZZIE A. Brittin. She married my grandfather, James D. Henson in 1906 and I have proof of that marriage. She is shown as LISSIE (I believe) on that marriage. Both of those marriages took place in McLean County, IL.
There is a marriage for Alonzo Walden and TESSIE A. Brittin in 1901, but I have no register to find out if this is her or another Brittin. I can't find any detailed material for Alonzo Walden or Tessie A. Brittin except I know that Susan Henson Walden Gardner, daughter of John D. Henson, had a son by the name of Alonzo Walden. Does anyone have this information? I would greatly appreciate it!
