I had went through my notes and thought this might be a little helpful. This is what I do know for a fact. My great grandma Rosetta (Rose) Bishop nee Haney had written some information in her bible. My grandma (Gladys), Rose's daughter had just the first page of what she had written. It had the list of all of Rose's kid's birth dates and it had the listing of Viola's death and Louis's Death. I also have the information that was put into my grandma's bible along with her brother's Elijah's (Roy)bible. This information is when they had gotten confirmed. It lists the church as First Presbyterian Church in Gibson City, Illinois. From what I have found is that the church is still up and running. From what my dad tells me is that he thinks that Louis might be buried some where in St. Louis, but I haven't found anything yet to say that my dad is right. I also have been told the Eljiah (Roy) has been in a Home/ Hospital since he was a teenager. The name of the home I have is West Main Nursing Home in Mascoutah, Illinios. Roy has been apart from the family so long, I don't think he will remember too much. Gladys really don't like talking about the past and claims she don't remember. In the 1920 Census it lists Louis's birth place as Illinois, his father's as Kentucky, his mother as Illinois. This is pretty all the information I have on the Bishops I have. Let me know if this helps any. Email me at

Best Wishes,
