Kathy , I did run across another Fry, in the first part of this book, (it is so big 850 pages, but in small print about 4 inches thick) It has two parts to it, both being alphabetical. so the first part of the book has a Jacob Fry who was born in 1799, in KY. and came to IL in 1819. he became a very distinctive person as well and died in 1881. He had 2 of his sons also achieve distinction, James Barnet Fry born 1827 and died in Newport, RI in 1894. William M. Fry was another son as well.
well I looked again for both spellings, in both sections and there was nothing on the Lankston family, sorry.
Donna
