Kammy, regarding the ancestors of your Mollie Wolf, I am enclosing what I found about them- as far back as I researched. You already know most of this.

Your Wolf line started with Anderson Wolf, born 1806 somewhere in Ky. and died 2/11/1884 in Bible Grove, Clay Co., Ill. On 3/18/1829 he married Polly Ford in Orange Co., Ind. They had 5 children, including son Leonard, your ancestor. Following Polly's death, Anderson married Elizabeth Brooks on 1/18/1859 in Clay Co. On the 1850 census, Anderson was listed as WOOLF.

Leonard was born 11/1843 in Orange Co. He died sometime during the period 1900-1920. In 1865 he married Susan J. Wheat in Clay Co. and they had at least 5 children, including son Lewis (Louis) Allen, your ancestor. Susan was born in Ill. in 1847 and apparently died circa 1880-1882. In 1883 Leonard married "Mary" and they had 2 more children.

Lewis Allen Wolf was born 1866 in Clay Co. I dont know when he died. About 1891 he married Mary Rosella Fitzgerald and their children were: Lola (b. 1892), Rosella (? -1895), William (1897),Mollie (1901), Seborn C. (1903), Cora Ethel (1906), and Theron C. (1909). On the 1900 census Lewis and Rosella lived next door to her parents. Rosella was born 8/1871 in Ill.

Mollie Wolf married Hershel Monroe circa 1919-1920. By the 1930 census they had the following children: Avon and Hershel Jr. Mollie and Hershel were living with Hershel's parents, William (age 63) and Nellie (age 56) Monroe in Clay Co.

I could find no info regarding Native American ancestors in this family.

I guess this is all I know about your Wolf Family. Bob Eddings - no relation.
