No one seems to know of a town called Kenner, however there is a r.r. crossing west of town called Kenner's Switch. John Kenner and America his wife are listed in the 1860 census no children. He is listed in the 1870 census as a DryGoods merchant (blind) from the war maybe/ and she a hotel keeper. Still no children.(both 41. He born IL she IN. Could this be the Kenners you are seeking?
