Your wife & I are cousins of some kind - I'm a descendant of Mary Jane and Daniel as well, through their son Benjamin Franklin Hinderliter. I'd be glad to share.

I've seen Roy's data - I believe he contributed the only info in the IGI about Lydia Amelia Ebeling. I've talked to several Ebeling specialists with no result - still can't find her parents...

I'm pretty sure that Daniel is the son of Lydia - at least that's the family's assertion. There's a son born in 1931 named James B Ebeling Deischer so we know Lydia was there by then. I'll try to see if I can find anything about Lida Gauker.
